Dan Gober, a native of
Philadelphia
,
PA
, is a singer / songwriter who has been an active member of the
music scene for over 15 years. From his early rock roots to his
intricate work with sound experiments, he has always been
crafting his many different genres of tunes and styles. Dan gets
his inspirations from life experiences and has written and
recorded ‘hundreds’ of songs. When not on stage performing,
Dan is working in the studio, Lunar Face Records, a
partnership-owned company with Buddy Sweets.

ennui (the
ennui project)
|

Started in 1994, when singer-songwriter Dan Gober began his project. By 1997 he had grouped together some of the finest musicians in the area to create his signature sound. Luscious spacey landscapes of delayed guitars and liquid light shows. ennui went on to become a well respected Philadelphia band, always remaining the mystery behind their complex arrangements. Recently regrouping to record their first studio record in almost a decade.

Peels formed in 1997, as a side project for Dan Gober. Getting back to his rock n' roll roots. Experimenting with songs and sounds. Styles range from
rock, experimental to folk. Recording seven albums in four years. Peels has gone on to become a song bin for Gober. "Pieces of music that do not work well with TV heroes or ennui have gone on to become great peels tunes", says Gober. Cataloging over some hundred songs. Peels is still very much an active project.

Formed in late 2001, TV heroes consists of brothers Dan Gober and Buddy Sweets. TV heroes is an all original rock n' roll band with great catchy tunes. Styles range from rock, blues, reggae, rockabilly, honky tonk, folk to even a little country. The brothers have made it a point to have as much fun as they can in their songwriting and performances.
